Global Architect Inc., an award-winning and dynamic team of architects and technical staff, based out of Toronto with a 57-year legacy of creating inspired buildings across North America.

Global’s portfolio is diverse, crossing both the private and public sectors. Our experience includes institutional design for academic and health care, multi-residential, high-rise and commercial. We have a core area of expertise found within the design of senior’s residential housing and care facilities.

Global’s skilled team of architects have delivered inspired senior living designs for independent retirement lifestyle projects, independent supportive living, assisted living, memory care and long-term care communities.

Story

Since the founding of our predecessor firm, Kelton and Lacka Architects in 1960, Global has worked with a variety of clients, completing a wide range of projects. Our future is guided and mentored by the expertise of our 57-year legacy.

Global Architect Inc. (est. 1992) has created sustainable, efficient and inspired buildings across North America. This breadth of experience has permitted our firm to offer an integrated, innovative and sustainable architectural solutions for our clients.

We believe that works of architecture are seldom the result of an individual’s solitary inspiration and attest to supporting today’s technically complex building industry by working in harmony with designers, artists, technicians, consultants, clients and end users.

Global is a collaborative practice that demands its principal take a hands-on approach to design working in tandem with senior architects and project managers. We appoint a senior architect to each project for the duration ensuring continuity of intent and familiarity with all project aspects.

People

The firm’s open concept studio environment enables continuous dialogue, problem solving and constructive ongoing learning amongst the team. Our success is ensured by dedicating individuals to a project team for the course of the development achieving established objectives and desired outcomes in every final product.

Our staff includes four licensed architects, a senior associate architect, interior designer and multiple technical support staff. The firm’s principal, Ron Possamai, brings his years of experience in all facets of design and building. The firm has completed more than 1,500 buildings which collectively represent an invaluable resource base for our ongoing work.
